Saturday, 2/12/11: Tina Brown Celona and Arda Collins

Arda Collins and Tina Brown Celona will read for The Clean Part Reading Series on Saturday, February 12 at 7PM. The event will be held at a new location, the Drift Station Gallery, which can be found at the intersection of 18th & N in downtown Lincoln, NE. We hope to see you there.

Arda Collins is the author of It Is Daylight, which was awarded the Yale Series of Younger Poets Prize. Her poems have appeared in A Public Space, The New Yorker, jubilat and elsewhere. She is a recipient of the May Sarton Poetry Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and lives in Denver, where she is pursuing a Ph.D. in poetry.

Tina Brown Celona has been working toward a doctorate in poetry at the University of Denver. She is particularly interested in Edwardian novels, Emily Dickinson, Helen Hunt Jackson, and Romantic and Victorian prosody and poetics. Her first poetry collection The Real Moon of Poetry and Other Poems was published by Fence Books in 2002, followed by Snip Snip! in 2006. Her most recent unpublished work is a chapbook, My Cat Jeoffry.
